Message	You guys are great! Thanks for your responses!! The tip is non ferious (non-magnetic) so retrieving it with a magnet is not an option. I drained the oil today and it didnt flow out with it. Going to try a small hose attached to a vacume cleaner and fish for it from the oil drain hole and also from the dipstick tube. The only picture on this site I could find of the oil pan was for a TT and it had lots of baffles in it ([ www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/rebuild_12.jpg ]) If I knew the geometry of the end of the dipstick tube relative to the drain hole that would help determine if it possible to retrieve it through the drain hole. I ran the car this morning and it didnt gernade the engine "yet".
